minutesScientific Logic: Our Aztec Biome-Booster Soup is built on a foundation of “Bio-Available Hydration.” By simmering carrots, onions, and garlic in a vegetable broth base, we create a mineral-rich liquid that helps restore the body’s electrolyte balance. This protocol is specifically optimized for Gut Resilience; the high soluble fiber from the dual-bean matrix acts as a prebiotic, feeding the beneficial bacteria in the gut. The inclusion of Jalapeno provides a natural thermogenic boost while the capsaicin supports a healthy gastric mucosal lining, ensuring your digestive system remains a high-functioning asset during heavy training loads.
Performance Strategy: This is a “Digestive Recovery” meal. It provides a substantial volume of food with a low caloric density, making it ideal for athletes who need to feel satiated without the heavy “gut-bomb” effect of traditional creamy soups or animal proteins. The toasted Corn Tortillas provide clean, long-chain carbohydrates to top off glycogen stores. Pro Tip: This is the perfect meal for the night before a “Big Day” session. It hydrates the system and clears the digestive tract, ensuring you wake up feeling light and ready to perform.

The Inventory
1 Large Sweet Onion
3 Medium Carrots
3 Whole Or Minced Garlic Cloves
1 Finely Chopped Jalapeno (Seeded)
1 Tbsp Cumin
1 Tbsp Spanish Paprika
2 Tsp Chili Powder
1 Tsp Oregano
1 Can Diced Tomatoes
1 Can Black Beans
1 Can Secondary Beans (Garbanzo, Kidney, Or White)
1/2 Bag Frozen Corn
4 Cup Veggie Broth
1/2-1 Tsp Salt
4-6 Corn Tortillas
1-2 Avocados (For topping)
1 Bunch Cilantro (For topping)
8 Wedges Lime
The Protocol
- The Aromatic Activation: Coat the bottom of a large pot with a thin layer of broth. Once sizzling, add the onions and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- The Spice Infusion: Add the jalapeno, cumin, paprika, chili powder, and oregano. Stir for 2 minutes to bloom the spices. Add only half the salt at this stage; you will calibrate the seasoning during the final set.
- The Veggie Foundation: Incorporate the carrots and diced tomatoes. Stir for 2 minutes to allow the flavors to integrate.
- The Endurance Simmer: Add both cans of beans, the frozen corn, and the remaining veggie broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- The Tortilla Crisp: While the soup simmers, cut the corn tortillas into thin strips and lightly salt them. Arrange on a tray in a toaster oven. Toast until crispy, tossing occasionally for an even finish.
- The Final Calibration: Taste the broth and add the remaining salt if needed. If you used whole garlic cloves, remove them now or mash them into the broth for a more intense flavor profile.
- Deployment: Ladle the soup into bowls. Top generously with the toasted tortilla strips, fresh avocado chunks, and cilantro. Finish with a heavy squeeze of lime juice to brighten the mineral profile.

Tactical Footnotes
- Advance Deployment: This soup is an ideal “Batch Protocol.” The flavors of the spices and beans deepen significantly after 24 hours in the refrigerator.
- Cold-Storage: Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 5 days. Keep the tortilla strips in a separate dry container to maintain their structural “crunch” during deployment.
