Welcome to Triple Breakdown!
If we haven’t met before – my name is Andy and I’m the Chief here at Ho’Omau Endurance Co. One of my biggest passions in life is to pass down all the knowledge and experiences I have gathered in endurance sports over the last 15 years, and even more so – to encourage others to lace up, clip in or push off the board. With well over 100 races under my belt, 2+ dozen podiums and every coaching certification under the sun, you’d think I’d have 20 athletes under my top-notch coaching supervision at any given time. Not so. As a husband, father of triples, race director, training camp leader, Chief and Kona-chasing athlete myself, time is very scarce.
Triple Breakdown is my monthly dedication to pass down useful knowledge to the athletes who need it the most – those who specifically asked for it. Rather than guessing and forcing my weekly “endurance noise” on you just to make the algorithm fall in love with the show, Triple Breakdown keeps it simple: 3 questions directly from our Ho’Omau community – answered in 10 minutes, with 0 fluff in between – every month.
I am very active on the Ho’Omau site and would love to see your comments or questions. While I cannot pay attention to everything, I focus on the comments that are most thoughtfully created and will try to respond.
Until we toe the line together or meet in person – be well and Ho’Omau!
