The 365-Mile Epic Ride That Started It All

The “OG” Vegas In 24 was a high-stakes proof of concept completed by Ho’Omau founder Andy Funk. Riding 365 miles nonstop from Los Angeles to the Las Vegas sign, Andy set the standing world’s fastest known time of 20:41:25. What began as a massive charity effort to support breast cancer care became the blueprint for what is now respected as the toughest one-day ultra-cycling challenge in the world. This page chronicles the grit, the media storm, and the professional crew that laid the groundwork for every rider who has taken the start line since that day.

The 2016 mission didn’t just capture the attention of the cycling world—it became a national headline. From Hollywood supporters to global endurance icons, the “OG” event proved that 365 miles is a story worth telling.

“Cycling 365 miles in 24 hours will be hard going, but doing it unsupported takes the challenge to a whole ‘nother level of difficulty both physically and mentally. There is no doubt those 24 hours will be the some of the toughest and most rewarding of his life. I’m looking forward to watching Andy’s ride.”
